Research Strengths
structural biology, Single Particle Cryo-EM, Membrane Protein, Ion Channel, Patch-clamp Electrophysiology

The Huang Lab is dedicated to comprehensively studying the molecular mechanisms of transmembrane signaling in human health and disease. Our investigations employ a range of research techniques, including single particle cryo-Electron Microscopy (cryo-EM), patch-clamp electrophysiology, protein production in mammalian cells and other biochemical and biophysical approaches. We are actively seeking passionate young scientists to join our team and delve into the structural, pathophysiological, and pharmacological aspects of medically relevant transmembrane signaling. Through our study, we aim to make valuable contributions to therapeutic advancements for degenerative and developmental diseases as well as cancer.
