University of Nebraska-Lincoln undergraduate biochemistry program earns ASBMB accreditation

BIOC major now an accredited degree program!

The Department of Biochemistry is excited to announce it has been accredited by the ASBMB!  The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is only 1 of 4 BIG Ten Schools and 1 of 38 programs total in the country to achieve this prestigious standing with our professional society!

News about the accreditation exam option will be coming soon to those students eligible to sit for the exam – the Department of Biochemistry will cover all associated expenses!
