UNL Biochemistry Ambassadors are students who represents the Biochemistry Department to prospective students and their families. They help to guide and reassure potential students, and to foster a sense of belonging.
Ambassadors can be involved in a variety of activities, including:
- Events: Attending and working at events like open days, campus tours, and orientation
- Academic support: Helping with workshops and subject sessions for prospective students
- Digital content: Creating content for the university's social media and website
- Q&As: Answering questions from prospective students and their families
- Staying in touch: Keeping in touch with newly admitted students throughout the enrollment process
Ambassadors are expected to represent the university and the Department of Biochemistry well and exhibit exemplary behavior, such as being punctual, professional, and having a positive attitude.
