A little about me: I've been at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since 2002. I spent over a decade as the Coordinator for Pre-Professional Advising, I was also in the School of Biological Sciences before I joined Biochemistry. We live about an hour from campus on a 160 acre “farm” of native Nebraska grasses and wildflowers, where I enjoy time outdoors with my husband and two girls. My interests in addition to academics and supporting students include spending time with my family, cooking, camping, and a wide variety of sports.

Our Biochemistry Club meets approximately twice a month to enjoy pizza, meet outside speakers from various fields of interest to members, discuss research or other topics, learn about various career paths, and orchestrate group tours.
