Lincoln has actually been deemed among the foremost "sports cities". We are well known for Memorial Stadium, the ~80,000-seat home of the University of Nebraska Husker football team. However, Lincoln has a well-rounded sporting life with events at venues such as the Pershing Center, home of the Lincoln Capitols, an arena league football team, Haymarket Park, home of the Saltdogs, our minor league baseball team, and the Ice Box, home of the Stars, our USHL hockey team.

 

It has been said that Lincoln not only has the most parks per capita, but the most golf courses per capita! If the links are your thing, Lincoln is your town.
