Focus Areas
Individual faculty research spans many current areas in which trained students and postdoctoral researchers are sought. By bringing together our diverse areas of interest and expertise into these concentrated disciplines, we are able to offer a training environment that strongly supports the career development and productivity of all members of our department.
Within the focus areas, faculty are investigating a variety of experimental questions relevant to agricultural and biomedical research. To address the issues in our specific area of study, we employ animal systems, plant systems, yeast, bacteria, cell and organ culture.
