Facilities
Students and faculty in the Biochemistry Program have office and lab space primarily in the George W. Beadle Center for Biotechnology and Genetics Research. This building is home to outstanding computing facilities for bioinformatics and structural biology, a nationally renowned Plant Transformation core, a microscopy core facility, and a new Metabolomics Mass Spectrometry core. This remarkably diverse research hub also harbors the multimillion dollar centers for Virology, Cellular Signaling, Plant Sciences, and Redox Biology.
