Welcome Alumni!

Graduates of our undergraduate biochemistry program are pursuing professional and academic training, as well as professional careers, locally, regionally and nationally in Biochemistry-related fields. Many are enrolled in MD Programs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and other fine medical schools across the nation. In addition to enrolling in MS Programs at UNL, our graduates are pursuing their doctorate degrees at such reputable institutions as Pennsylvania State University, the University of Wisconsin, Washington University, Michigan State University and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Biochemistry proficient students have secured positions as Research Technicians and Assistants at UNL, UNMC, the University of Utah, St. Louis University or with the USDA. Several have enrolled in Pharmacy Programs at UNMC and Creighton University, and recent graduates from these programs are securing positions as Pharmacy Technicians with employers such as Walgreens.
